A large south-facing living room extends the full-width of the house at the front and connects to the side garden through large Iroko sliding doors.  This part of the house has high floor to ceiling heights, lit with roof lights.

The main kitchen is recessed into a niche, designed to be visually unobtrusive with white units and countertop.

Large roof lights in the central staircase zone bring natural light down through the middle of the house.

Three steps lead down to bedrooms, bathroom and storage to the rear. Storage was designed for every room, to maximise available space.  An eight meter long green bookshelf and oak desk provide useful storage and work space.

The house has a Scandinavian feel in its simplicity, with warmth provided by a timber floor, doors and windows.
